Porto Badisco on the 50th Anniversary of its Discovery – A Visit into the Prehistoric Sanctuary through the Photos of Paolo Graziosi in the IIPP Photographic Archive
0,00€
Through the photographs taken by Paolo Graziosi and guided by his own words, a space that is currently inaccessible becomes accessible in a virtual way. The large prehistoric cultural complex of Porto Badisco cave (Lecce, Apulia) with its paintings is thus disclosed to the public through an immersive path among hundreds of figurative and abstract images.
The exhibition is realized in the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the cave by the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory, within the framework of the project “Virtual accessibility to the Historical Archive of the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory“, co-funded by the Fondazione CR Firenze and the MIUR, in collaboration with the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio per le province di Brindisi, Lecce e Taranto.
